about me

I was born in New Mexico and raised in West Texas. I found my way to Houston to attend Rice University, where I studied Mathematical Economic Analysis. After college, I spent two years working in the Texas Medical Center at the Methodist Hospital Research Institute, studying how patients make medical decisions under cases of severe uncertainty.

I then spent time at the University of Houston, first at the Bauer College of Business to study Finance, then to the School of Social Sciences to study Economics. In graduate school, I found my passion for telling a story supported by sound data and analytics.

I now work in commercial real estate, where I get to use my economic and analytical skills every day. I also have the privilege of serving as an adjunct professor at Lone Star College, where I teach courses in micro and macroeconomics.
